Dr Sona Chengappa

Cairns Dentist welcomes Dr Sona Chengappa in Kings Langley, for all their latest dental treatments and techniques, given gently by their caring team of dentists.

Sona graduated in Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1992. In 2005, he obtained a post graduate qualification MFGDP (UK). The Membership of Faculty of General Dental Practicner from England. In the same year, he also obtained the MFDS RCS. The Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgeons- Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow. Before coming to Sydney Australia in 2006, he and his wife had successful dental practice in Kathmandu, Nepal from 1994 to 2005. He landed his first job in Australia was with Queensland Health, Townsville. He is also currently working with HCF Dental Centre, Blacktown. Sona was also a tutor with Westmead Dental Hospital (Sydney University) and University of Queensland. Sona is interested in continuing education and training in order to achieve the smile and confidence that his patients deserve. He is kind and caring with excellent communication skills. He has particular interest in Cosmetic dentistry, Restorative dentistry and Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment). Sona enjoys jogging, playing tennis and hiking. He is keen family man and enjoys spending time with his daughter & son.
