Dr John Kenny

Cairns Dentist welcomes Dr John Kenny in Deception Bay, for all their latest dental treatments and techniques, given gently by their caring team of dentists.

After graduating from the University of Queensland in 1975, John worked in private practice in Murwillumbah, northern NSW, for four years and then spent some time overseas where he attended a number of conferences to update his dental techniques. Upon returning to Queensland, John worked for 2 years in the public sector at the Gold Coast Hospital Dental Clinic. He then commenced general practice at Deception Bay where he has been treating patients now for over 25 years! John enjoys delivering dental care to patients of all ages and he offers nitrous oxide (happy gas) to any anxious patients to make their dental visit relaxed and comfortable. Apart from attending dental courses and conferences, John’s other interests include sailboarding, tennis and music – especially good old 60’s rock’n’roll!
