Dr Michael Rutherford

Cairns Dentist welcomes Dr Michael Rutherford in The Gap, for all their latest dental treatments and techniques, given gently by their caring team of dentists.

Michael has enjoyed practicing dentistry in The Gap since 1988, and is now treating the second and third generations of some local families. His particular interests in dentistry are IV sedation in conjunction with Mark Brumpton, for minor oral surgery and people anxious about dental treatment; implant crowns and dentistry in general. Michael also spends part of the week supervising dental students at the University of QLD. Michael is a keen cyclist and has been fortunate enough to have travelled to France over the last few years to follow the Tour De France and try some of the European mountains. He is happy to discuss cycling and sport in general for as long as you like.
