Dr Kenneth Autterson

Cairns Dentist welcomes Dr Kenneth Autterson in Burnie, for all their latest dental treatments and techniques, given gently by their caring team of dentists.

Dr Autterson has worked in private practice as a general dentist in Sydney's busy Bondi Junction as well as in beautiful rural Tasmania. He was born in Canada and completed his undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics. On completion of his first degree, Dr Autterson followed his dreams and moved to Australia where he completed his bachelor of dentistry at the University of Sydney. While at uni, he was the recipient of the Dental Alumni Society Award V for Proficiency in Removable Prosthodontics and the Oral Health Foundation Elective Scholarship for his volunteer work in Colomba, Guatemala. Dr Autterson has focused his continuing education in the areas of endodontics, Invisalign, crown and bridge, restorative dentistry and cosmetics. Dr Autterson has a special interest for cosmetics including crowns, veneers, and Invisalign. Dr Autterson has much experience as a dental patient having undergone many years of orthodontics and major dental surgery. This has given Dr Autterson an unusual empathy and understanding of his patients. Dr Autterson uses his past experiences to fully understand his patients’ needs and expectations and develop a custom made treatment plan best suited for the patient. Outside of dentistry, Dr Autterson has many interests, including traveling, fitness, and ice hockey
