Dr Pia Oparkcharoen

Cairns Dentist welcomes Dr Pia Oparkcharoen in Docklands, for all their latest dental treatments and techniques, given gently by their caring team of dentists.

Dr. Pia (Piyakul) Oparkcharoen has more than 15 years of experience as a dentist. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Dental Surgery from the Dental School, University of Adelaide in 2005 as well as a graduate certificate from the Dental School, University of Melbourne in 2010. At one point, she taught at the University of Melbourne’s Dental School as a lecturer and a course convener. She is engaged with the Dental School via occasionally sharing her experience as a clinical demonstrator. Dr.Pia is a member of the following organisations: ITI (International Team for Implantology), Switzerland ADA (Australian Dental Association) The Australian Prosthodontic Society Dr. Pia currently works part-time at the Royal Dental Hospital. Dr. Pia’s passion is in preventative care reducing the chance of patients having to undergo more extensive operations. She believes in conservative and minimally-invasive treatment and endeavors to keep patients’ teeth intact to the extent possible.
